How does Alphabill work?
Alphabill is a cloud-based online invoicing system that can be used directly from your browser without installation. It allows you to easily create invoices, proforma invoices, quotes, and other documents, which can be downloaded as PDFs or sent via email. The system securely stores all information in the cloud on a server infrastructure in EU which uses renewable energy and heats more thousand homes.
How quickly can I start using it?
Alphabill is available immediately after registration, no installation is required. To start using it, you only need to complete the basic setup, and you can start invoicing right away. It is also possible to upload customer, supplier, and item databases via CSV files.
Can I try Alphabill without commitment?
Yes — the system comes with a 30-day free trial after registration.
Which features are not available during the 30-day trial?

If you switch to our system during the year and already have issued invoices, you can enter the last invoice number, and the system will continue numbering from there, ensuring continuity.
Can I add multiple users with different permissions?
Yes — sub-users can be created with custom permissions, with an annual fee per user.
Can I add my accountant to my account?
Yes — as a sub-user with custom permissions. The annual fee is 12 EUR + VAT.
Are there any hidden costs? (export, webshop, accountant access)
There are no hidden costs for the system’s basic features. Data export and webshop import are included in the core functions at no extra cost.
Sub-user licenses (e.g., accountant access) are subject to additional fees.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, the service can be canceled at any time, but the annual subscription fee is non-refundable. The program remains fully functional until the end of the paid period + 1 additional year.
Can it be used on mobile?
Yes — the interface is platform-independent and works on mobile devices (as a Progressive Web App or PWA). This way the program doesn't require specific permissions on your phone, doesn't run in the background or uses your phone's storage. It is compatible with Mac, Linux, and Windows, requiring only an internet connection.
Can data be exported for accountants?
Yes, Alphabill allows invoice data export for accounting purposes. Data can be exported in BMD, DATEV and CSV formats, as well as mass download in PDF format, This way you don't need to print and post your invoices to your accountant.
Can I issue invoices in foreign languages?
Yes, invoices can be issued in eight languages: English, German, French, Hungarian, Romanian, Spanish, Italian, and Slovak.
Can I invoice in foreign currencies?
Yes — the system supports invoicing in foreign currencies.
Can it send automatic reminders to customers?
Yes, the system can send automatic email notifications to customers, including invoice issuance, payment receipt, quotes, delivery notes, customer orders, and proforma invoices. It also supports manual and automatic payment reminders via email.
How does webshop import work?
Alphabill allows importing and invoicing orders from online stores. Automatic data transfer is provided via API for UNAS webshop and Nexudus. It can also be connected to MySQL-based webshops. Invoices, proforma invoices, and other documents can be created in a few clicks. This type of integration requires a minimal development before usage.
Does it work with barcode scanners?
Yes, Alphabill is compatible with barcode scanners, enabling fast invoicing. Products and items can be quickly identified, and inventory management tasks are easier to handle.
What encryption and security measures are used?
AlphaBill operates via a secure network connection (SSL, https://). All transactions on the platform are protected by 256-bit encryption, ensuring the security of your data from the moment you sign in. This means that all data exchange between your device and the webserver (database) is encrypted.
